"This book made me realize the unsettling truths about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum in the American healthcare system. The author does an excellent job writing her story and suggesting what societal changes need to be made. She empowers new mothers to advocate for themselves during their journey. Overall, very well written. This is a book I will definitely tell my sister about."
Keilah Villa, Goodreads Review
"With a blend of research and personal narrative, The Alchemy of Motherhood sheds new light on the difficulties of giving birth in a healthcare system that has lost sight of what's best for mothers and babies...I wish this book had existed before I had my own babies!"
